Nietzsche will be remembered for saying “God is dead”…

And the death of God according to Nietzsche saying in his book (The Gay Science) was bloody and painful affair…

But the question here is simply that does the death of God means that life is meaningless?

The answer to this question is simple…

It’s yes and no actually as I will explain here…

God in the various senses has been the source and keeper of all value and meaning for the world…

When you kill God you lose this…

As Nietzsche says you “wipe away the entire horizon”…

As when you remove this heavenly horizon you are left in the world without meaning…

So yes life without God is meaningless…

But of course in Islam as a religion God is not dead…

And as a consequence of God living then life can be meaningful…

And this would be the first difference between the traditional and between Islamic existentialism…
