Where are we now?

Let’s get real as time goes even in the best of economic conditions, millions are unemployed…

The economy is changing structurally forever such as white-collar jobs are following the blue-collar jobs…

Technological start-ups are everywhere located at Sillicon Valley to the Middle East and browsing the workplace on websites such Elance or oDesk were participants are competing for bids from users is the current reality…

Are we in an age that we might call postindustrial economy, the knowledge era or the information age?

In 2011, famed internet entrepreneur turned venture capitalist Marc Andreessen described how technology companies are disrupting entire industries—He called this phenomenon “software eating the world”…

He declared “six decades into the computer revolution, four decadestwitter connect-body since the invention of the microprocessor, and two decades into the rise of the modern internet, all of the technology required to transform industries through software finally works and can be widely delivers at global scale”

As this means that software started to be in everything, in your car, phone, stereo, camera and TV…

Internet, mobile, mobile internet, laptops and tablets not to mention the six degrees of separation, Linkedin, Facebok, Twitter, you get the picture…

Coming is a world of worldwide super connectivity…Machines talking to machines, data to data, decisions are made by machines based on that data…

As technology had disrupted entire industries putting creative people directly with consumers such as musicians are selling directly to their fans, authors are publishing directly to their readers and filmmakers post their films directly to their viewers…

Is that mean that we are in a value-creation economy were the businesses that continuously create the most value for a market survive and even win!!

Let’s consider what the value-creation economy means more in my next post…
