Alienation from the Product

Under capitalism, Marx says we lose the products of our labor as if we work in a factory we make things but in the end of our shift we own nothing that we produced.
Who owns it? The person or the company that hired us.
“The capitalist” as Marx always put it keeps what we make and sells it for a profit.
Whether we work in an office, a store, a restaurant, a hospital or a factory its’ all the same.
We perform certain tasks or services but the owner of the company retains control over what we do and sells it for a profitdownload, but unless we’re involved in “profit sharing” we do not get a piece of the action.
But that’s the way it is you might say, everyone knows those are the rules…Those may be the rules but Marx thinks they are the wrong rules.
He believes that we are entitled to own and control what we produce and he is particularly unhappy that the whole process increases the power of the “capitalist” over the workers.
As the owner earns much more money than the workers and keeps the profit from the sale of the products as well.
Worse yet, because money is power under capitalism, what workers produce increases the capitalists power over them…As not only do the workers lose control over the products of their labor…
Marx also sees the fruits of these products, money, ultimately being turned against the very people who produced them…
Under such circumstances, how can the workers be happy?
